| Possible Available Gliders | ||||||||
| My wife and I have a pair of gliders and should start seeing joeys (babies) around August or September. There will be a very limited amount of joeys per year. I don't actually expect to have any need to try too hard to sell them as they produce a maximum of 6 joeys per year and keeping up with local demand seems to be a larger task than my one pair can cover. I believe in being able to get what I want however and feel it is only fair to put up the glider buying rules here for anyone potentialy interested. Due to the small amount of offspring versus high demand there will be a deposit required to hold a joey until weaned. This deposit will be $50 and wil be non-refundable. If you change your mind you give it up. The price will be $250 less the deposit. This price is not cheap and the quality of my gliders is why. As I said before if you want farm raised, never handled, malnourished animals be my guest and save some dough. For the people like myself who want a pet that is everything they expected and more, you get what you pay for and $250 is what you pay for mine, period. Also I live in Alabama and I will not ship gliders anwhere at all. It is not good for them and I will not do it so don't ask. If you want it you must come and get it. Lastly, I reserve the right to refuse anyone a sale at whatever time I feel it is not in the best interest of the animal. In other words, if I do not feel comfortable that you will be responsible and treat the animal well then forget it, you do not get one of mine. These rules may seem harsh but please understand I do not mean to come across as pushy and hard to deal with. I only have the animals best interest in mind and will not willingly send one into an environment that is not good for it. They simply deserve better than that. |
