Paradura androyensis Androys Gecko Maxing out at about 2 inches long these little guys can hold their own compared to other larger geckos. Their coloration varies from dark bark brown to light grey. One of the first things that stands out about these geckos is the way they hold their tails. They will curl them up over their back and seem to use them to communicate to one another. They generally hang out in their cave or under their bark during the day. Towards early evening however they can be seen climbing among the branches looking for food. They have a quick cat-like grace pouncing on unsuspecting crickets from above. I have not had these guys very long. When I purchased them I was told not to keep them too moist and otherwise just enjoy them. I was also told I could expcet to see the cage floor littered with tiny pea sized eggs before long. Update: I have eggs!! Only two eggs so far but I'm still keeping watch for more.

Uromastyx maliensis Mali Uromastyx Uromastyx are great pet lizards. Their requirements are not tough at all just fresh veggies a few times per week with some crickets on the side. This a tank full of sand and a light throwing real UVB providing a basking spot around 100 degrees and you'll have one happy active Uro. What they lack in dollar value is more than made up for with dinosaur like looks, great color and a personality as good as any bearded dragon. My Uro is active and actually seems to enjoy being handled. This guy rocks and is a great pet.

Phelsuma sp. Yellow Headed Day Gecko These are among the smaller Day Geckos topping out at a little over 2 inches. What they lack in size however, they more than make up for with awesome blue coloration on the body and a bright neon yellow head. There are several subspecies of Yellow Heads and I am not sure which particular species I have. I do not however believe it is the P klemmeri which seems to be the most common of the Yellow Heads.
